Users can now disassociate Instruments from an account. This allows an instrument to be utilized by a different asset or account thereafter. Please note that in order to do this, you will need the “Disassociate CCM Instrument” security right.
To do this, please complete the following:
Open the Instrument List tile.
Search for the instrument list on your account. Click the link for the instrument on the serial number.
On the next screen, there will be a button for “Disassociate Instrument.” Click that.
A confirmation window will appear. Click Yes.
You will see another alert that an email will be sent to your inbox once it has been completed.
Once you receive the confirmation email, you can double-check the Instrument tile again to confirm that it has been disassociated from the account. This will be indicated by a red X under the “Active” column.
